Photo Boutique has teamed up with Les Fleurs de Tuline for the photo shoot of her new collection.  Imagine being taken into a modern-day hippie/bohemian fantasy world.  Hair accessories always add personality to an outfit whether you’re a hippie or an upper east side girlie girl.  While the new collection is awesome, we are really looking forward to the fall hair accessories.  Imagine thick knit headbands with pom poms or furry accents.

And to all you brides out there, I just heard Les Fleurs de Tuline is now custom-making bridal headbands!

Accessories are an essential part of an outfit and they are becoming more and more so every day.  With many designers and brands opting for the more simple silhouettes and plain palettes these past few seasons, due to the lackluster global economy, accessories are proving to be vital.  You can change the look of an outfit from day to night by simply changing your accessories.  It creates versatility and personality.  You can define your style with your accessories.  Rocker chicks like studded cuffs and chokers, girly girls opt for flowers and pearls and some, like me, like to change it up. I wanted to introduce you to 2 really cool accessories stores in City Stars, in addition to an awesome place to find VINTAGE SHADES!

I am now officially obsessed with UTERQÜE, a Spanish brand from the same company behind Zara.  It opened in City Stars Phase 2, across from Boss and Longchamp above Karen Millen.  The store carries so many awesome accessories from shoes and bags to scarves, earnings, necklaces and rings.  You will definitely find statement pieces to spice up your outfit.  Below are pictures of their Spring/Summer Lookbook, creatively shot taking my fixation even further.  Not all items are in store though but trust me, it is worth a visit!  You’ll become just as obsessed as I am.

Amina K for Baraka

Have you ever gone to Baraka and found an Egyptian brand of sunglasses? The answer was no; but NOW you can find Amina K. in collaboration with Baraka! You would think with all the sun we live in, an Egyptian girl would have started a sunglasses collection.  Finally, the time has come!

The collection consists of 40 pairs of sunglasses with around 10 shapes all created to suit the Amina K. brand.  You’ll find the classic aviator shape which comes in many shades but my favorite pair is the Egyptian flag (it is red, white and black).  There are huge Jackie O-style shades. One comes in a funky blend of pastel shades, I can see Amina Khalil wearing them.  The pair that I would purchase are the subtle cat eyes.  They are simple yet stylish, but it would have been really cool if they came in white!  The prices range between 625-675. Truly, the most amazing part of the whole collection is the EGYPTIAN EAGLE on the side of the frames.  Ta7ya Masr!

The collection can be found at Amina K. boutiques in Cairo and Sahel, Loolies Sahel, Mounaya in Diplo, a selected 10 Baraka stores and soon on style-treasure.com.

P.S. Can you believe that is Mirette modeling?
