With many designers and brands opting for the more simple silhouettes and plain palettes these past few seasons, due to the lackluster global economy, accessories are proving to be vital. You can change the look of an outfit from day to night by simply changing your accessories. It creates versatility and personality. You can define your style with your accessories. Rocker chicks like studded cuffs and chokers, girly girls opt for flowers and pearls and some, like me, like to change it up. I wanted to introduce you to 2 really cool accessories stores in City Stars, in addition to an awesome place to find VINTAGE SHADES!
I am now officially obsessed with UTERQÜE, a Spanish brand from the same company behind Zara. It opened in City Stars Phase 2, across from Boss and Longchamp above Karen Millen. The store carries so many awesome accessories from shoes and bags to scarves, earnings, necklaces and rings. You will definitely find statement pieces to spice up your outfit. You’ll become just as obsessed as I am.

Have you heard of Entitled Youth yet? If not, you have to know, NOW. It is “an online platform founded in Cairo, Egypt and curated by a collective group of contributors who come together to publish everything fashion to film, with an aim to bridge the gap between alternative and mainstream art. Entitled is about promoting new talent from the region as well as internationally. It was founded on three basic ideas: opportunity, quality and selection. The purpose of the platform is to encourage more artists to show their work, as well as providing a source of inspiration for younger creative minds.”
The creative minds behind Entitled Youth came up with an awesome photo shoot for Villa Baboushka one of Cairo’s hippest boutiques. Bosaina II shot, styled and edited the photo shoot with the help of Mirette. I believe that there will be more exciting and creative things coming from the Entitled team and I can’t wait to see what is next. I hope you enjoy the shoot as much as I do.

Lalloushi Boutique
A new ‘hip and happening’ boutique is opening in Zamalek today! The opening is from 8:00pm to 11:00 pm in Zamalek. From what I know now, the boutique will be carrying Nuniz Bags and more clothing and accessories. I will keep you posted as soon as I find out more and if you check it out tonight leave a comment below!
